The eBook for the first in the Wildlife of the World series of children's books is very similar to the latest printed edition, highlighting the incredible wildlife of China, but the photos are higher quality viewed on a digital screen and there are some extra interactive features.

Everyone is familiar with endangered giant pandas, but animals like bright orange snub-nosed monkeys and scary golden takin are almost unknown outside the country... not to mention all the weird and wonderful birds, reptiles and insects!

This book combines dozens of colour photos with various interesting facts and links to interactive media, all taken during Hugh's extensive travels in this vast country.

Unfortunately not all eReaders are capable of handling the high quality images and interactive features of the Wildlife of the World series.

They are not recommended for black and white readers, or screens less than 8 inches (select 'eBooks explained' from the menus above for full compatibility information.)

China is a huge country with habitats like deserts, mountains, rainforest and plateau providing homes for an incredible range of wildlife. Everyone is familiar with endangered giant pandas, but animals like bright orange snub-nosed monkeys and scary golden takin are almost unknown outside the country... not to mention all the weird and wonderful birds, reptiles and insects.

Conserving the incredible wildlife we share our planet with is one of the most important tasks the young generation are going to be faced with. This book has been carefully designed to grab their attention in the chaotic, modern digital world, educate them about the amazing creatures that live here and enthuse them with the desire to find out more!
